This period saw the construction of facilities such as the Old Mineral Baths, the Spa House and the beautiful, wooden Main Pump Room with a promenade. Krynica’s most beautiful wooden houses, featuring elaborate wood carving, were built in the second half of the 19th century, as a result of a large influx of patients.
